Seether – Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray

This, like all Seether albums, is very good. Every song on here is good. Some songs are better than others, obviously, but none of them are bad. “Here and Now” and “Tonight” are probably my favorites. “Country Song” is kind of getting on my nerves, but that’s not Seether’s fault. It’s a good song, but while at work we listen to the radio and WEBN plays it like 50 times a day.

It’s kind of hard to keep writing a review when that’s the only thing to complain about. The first song, “Fur Cue” (which is a pretty funny title), is probably my least favorite out of the 12 songs on the disc. They do a good job of balancing out their music with a mix of both harder and softer songs. There are a couple of songs, like “Forsaken”, that have both elements in it at the same time.

Anyone who likes Seether should definitely check this CD out. It’s an awesome addition to their collection.
